Jack Maden is the Founder and Director of Philosophy Break, a social enterprise dedicated to making the wisdom of philosophy instantly accessible (and useful!) for people striving to live happy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
Having studied and written about philosophy for 15+ years, Jack now teaches three introductory philosophy courses — Life’s Big Questions, Introduction to Nietzsche, and How to Live a Good Life — to thousands of students across the globe.
Jack became involved in the ‘public philosophy’ movement after graduating with distinction from his Philosophy MA in 2014.
Interested in making the value of philosophy feel accessible and relevant to a modern audience, Jack founded Philosophy Break to drive this mission forward.
